The queen of roma music Esma Redzhepova is another star that will be part of the Balkan music awards. Esma is among the most successful Balkan artists of all time. She has had over 8000 concerts in over 30 countries. She was also nominated twice for the Nobel Peace Prize for her humanitarian work. She has adopted 47 children, providing them all with higher musical education.


Esma will be on the same stage as the contemporary pop star Inna, Romanians Radio Killer, rock band Manga, Emanuela, Natasha Bekvalac, Alicia, Joanna, Polly Genova, Colonia, the Albanian hit maker Flori, Toni Storaro, Teodora and many more performers. On June 4th at the Battenberg Square viewers will watch the performance by Goran Bregovic and his orchestra for weddings and funerals. Israeli top star Sarit Haddad, whose fan is Madonna herself, will also be present.


For the second consecutive year, Balkanika Music Television brings together the top performers, who successfully develop their careers in different styles. "We have always sought to broadcast quality music regardless of the genre. The very fact that these artists stand together on one stage is an indication that we are heading in the right direction” shared the Balkanika Music Television team.

An hour before the start of the Balkan Music Awards on June 4, in the Battenberg Square, there will be a concert featuring popular performers. The show starts exactly at 8 PM with the first song that will heat up the crowd in the square. During the one-hour show some of the latest Balkan hits will be presented on stage.

On large screens viewers will be able to observe and the arrival of this year's winners at the square. They will be escorted from the hotel, which they are staying in, along Tsarigradsko Chausse in an official motorcade. 20 limousines will transport the stars of 2010 that the viewers of Balkanika Music Television selected. For better coverage of the entire procession viewers in the square will be able to see footage filmed from a helicopter. After passing along the red carpet, the performers will go to their personal make-up artists. The official ceremony for the awards will start at 9 PM hours.

Meanwhile Balkanika Television is looking for the biggest fans. 100 people will be able to watch the music event from the front row. The names of the performers who will take part in the Balkan music awards have become clear. On June 4, Battenberg Square will bring together some of the most successful artists in the Balkans.

Besides the winners of the award for Song of the Balkans from each country, viewers will see other guest performers as well.

Turkish rock band Manga confirmed its participation. In 2010, Manga was ranked second at the Eurovision song contest with the song “We Could Be The Same”. They are also the winners in the best band category from MTV.

Romanians Radio Killer will also become part of the event. Their undisputed their hits “Be Free” and “Lonely Heart” shot them to the forefront of European charts. They will arrive in Bulgaria immediately after their concert in Moscow. On home soil we will meet Inna, who will make a mix of hits from recent years.

Joanna and Polly Genova are the Bulgarian pop singers who will perform in front of the multi-million audience. Alicia, Toni Storaro, Emanuela and Teodora are also preparing for the grand spectacle. Master Tempo and Giorgos Giannias will arrive from neighboring Greece, while Albanian hit-maker Flori will also present one of his songs - a duet with Elvana Gjata.

Also starring - Natasa Bekvalac /Serbia/, Aurela Gace feat. Dr. Flori & Marsel /Albania/ Colonia /Croatia/, Emre Aydin /Turkey/, Elena Risteska /Macedonia/, Rebeka Dremelj /Slovenia/, Armin Muzaferija /Bosnia and Herzegovina/.

Sarit Haddad will be returning to Bulgaria once again. She has already expressed her good impression after being here in Bulgaria a few days ago, to perform a duet song with Alicia.

The audience is also expecting Goran Bregovic with great anticipation. He will arrive in Bulgaria with his orchestra for weddings and funerals.

On June 4th, viewers will find out who has won the awards for " Male Singer", "Female Singer", "Best Video",  “Best Duet/Group" and "Balkan project”.
